On Monday February 5 I will be flying to South Carolina to spend the following week and weekend with the good Orthodox people of South Carolina and Georgia and giving talks at Furman University and in the local parishes about the Orthodox understanding of soteriology. The main talk will bear the provocative title, “Who Goes to Hell?” (their choice of title), with subsequent addresses expounding the Orthodox understanding of faith and what it means to live a life of faith in America today. Because of this I will be away from computer access and therefore unable to post any comments offered on my blog here until my return. You are invited to join me for these talks if you are in the area and to pray for me even if you are not. The American South is a long way from my home and native land here in the Vancouver area, and I am not entirely convinced that man was meant to fly. Thank you for your prayers!
